Review: CRAZY FUN IN THE KITCHEN WITH - LITTLE CHEF BOX

Cooking is so much fun! Baking and cooking is one of Em and my favourite activities.

Awaken your child’s inner MasterChef with the Little Chef Box.

I was super excited when Little Chef Box https://www.facebook.com/Littlechefbox/ contacted me to do a review on their new Zoom classes.

“Little Chef Box was started for kids to have fun while cooking/baking. Not only will they be having fun, but they will learn life skills of cooking/baking. Little Chef box is a great activity and bonding time where parents can help their kids cook and bake.

Each, Little Chef Box is filled with ingredients and a recipe that kids can follow to make a scrumptious meal. We have boxes available in our shop and a specially themed box that goes out once a month.

The new Zoom cooking class is so much fun and a great activity for home-schooled kids or for the holidays. At R80.00 a zoom spot (for a family) it is budget-friendly.

The theme for the first Zoom Little Chef Box class was “Green Eggs and Ham.”

Chef Em decided that toast was her new favourite food (subsequently it has become a food group in her diet). Our green eggs and ham in not a dish that I have not seen served in a restaurant, but it was extremely tasty. Chef Em was incredibly proud of her culinary creation.

The children attempted to cook their culinary concoctions with gusto.

These cooking classes are perfect for children from ages 5 (with adult supervision) and for older children.

Price: R80.00 (includes some fun activities, recipe, list of ingredients, and the live step by step tutorial)

Time and Date: Keep an eye on their Facebook and Instagram page for the Time and date of the next class.

Getting creative in the kitchen is a wonderful way for children to learn maths skills (weighing, counting and time) and at the end, you get to eat your delicious creations! Cooking is a fantastic way to teach children life skills, independence and creativity.

Little Chef Box is a wonderful small business based in cape Town which is run with passion by its owner Kaylee Wolhuter. Each recipe is created with passion and each box packed with love.

Time to have some family fun in the kitchen with the Little Chef Box and stir up some delicious meals. Your child could be the next Siba or Jan, just needing the cooking bug to bite so that they can become South Africa’s next Michelin Star Chef.
