(PR News) “BAG OF JOY” LAUNCHES IN S.A

Is it too early to play Christmas Carols and hang some tinsel? - Asking for a friend?

This is one of the happiest Press Releases I have received.

I do love beautifully packaged gifts and a good cause to boot - count me in!

“BAG OF JOY” LAUNCHES IN S.A., FOUNDED BY ELANA AFRIKA-BREDENKAMP AND KATE SHEPHERD

‘Tis the season! To be jolly, yes. But also, to fill our children’s hearts with love and their memory banks with festivity.

Santa’s little helpers Elana Afrika-Bredenkamp and Kate Shepherd have put together a little ‘bag of joy’ for all children. Their experience-based gift venture named ‘Bag of Joy’ begins taking orders for its inaugural range, the Christmas Edition, from 6 October.

Kids will be mesmerised with all things merry and magical as they pull out each darling item from this all-in-one Christmas gift bag. The reindeer-themed contents include both items and experiences. Parents can expect for their children Christmas stockings, pyjamas and an advent calendar filled with sugar-free sweets, as well as everything a child needs to make their Christmas Eve and Christmas lunch completely unforgettable.

Christmas is ultimately the season to give back. It’s the season to Give Joy. For every Bag of Joy purchased, Elana and Kate will donate gifts to causes close to their hearts, thanks to you.

Serial entrepreneur for over 15 years Kate Shepherd was born in England and has married and settled down in Cape Town. Elana is her partner in this initiative and is no stranger to South African parents owing to her TV, film and radio career along with her Baby Brunch podcasts and platform. Elana believes that Christmas is a time for giving in any and every way.

“It is time to be joyful!” says Elana. “People all around the world have had a shift to their ‘new average’, and the lockdown in South Africa has motivated me to spread joy, love and the spirit of giving both in my home and through this, our Bag of Joy.”

Says Kate: “We are all just too busy, too tired and burned out after this dreadful year to even wrap our heads around holiday time. So in discussion with Elana, we brainstormed what we’d love to have to make it magical for our kiddies – because they have had a rubbish year too! We chatted about what help we needed to put some joy back into 2020 as we end the year, and that’s how the Christmas Bag of Joy was born.”

The Bag of Joy Christmas Edition will be available to order online from R1399 per child for a bag filled with goodies.

So create a holiday experience that your children will remember for a lifetime with the help of Elf Elana and Elf Kate.

‘Tis the season of giving!
