Initial impression and thoughts:

“Hard Seltzer ”as it is know overseas is a growing trend and one that I'm sure will take off in the South African market.

I tried both the Mixed Berry, and Pineapple & Coconut Frost Sparkles. I didn’t find them overly sweet , which is what I was worried about. The drinks caused a buzz at a photography workshop I attended with a few ladies requesting a taste. All the ladies remarked that the drinks tasted really great . Frost Sparkles tastes like an adults drink and not alcoholic juice.

Both flavours are flavours that are known to the South African palate.

The 5% alcohol vol is a great low alcohol option. Im not a fan of high alcoholic volume drinks. You can taste the alcohol but its not completely over powering.

A Hard Seltzer is a nice option to have if you don’t feel like wine or a beer. It is refreshing alternative.

I really liked the design and branding on the cans. The 300ml slim line cans are incredibly convenient. Perfect size to be added to cooler boxes for summer sundowners , braais, game drives and pool days.

The fact that the cans are recyclable is a big selling point.

The drinks are reasonably priced from R20.00 per can.

Final Thoughts:

I would buy the Frost Sparkles . They are a great alternative for those who don’t want beer or wine. It’s a portable cocktail and has a classy look to it. I enjoyed the taste of the drink. Frost Sparkles are the perfect summer sipper.

Add some fun to your day with Frost Sparkles!
